Marie E. Anderson Bolger, 95, of Peoria died March 20, 2007 at the Hospice of Arizona at Freedom Plaza in Peoria, AZ. Marie was from Glenview, IL and was a former Realtor there. She predeceased her first husband, Norman Anderson and her second husband, George Bolger. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 23, 2007 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.

Sandra Ann Merrow 70, of Laveen, passed away March 18, 2007. Sandra was born in Marion, Ohio and came to Arizona in 1958. She retired from Cigna where she was a sales representative. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Bill, children Julie Jacobs, Cindy LaCounte, Douglas and Jeff Merrow, Brother Michael, Sisters Jeannie, Cynthia, and DeeLee, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grand. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Menke Funeral Home 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Sun City. Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Funeral Home. W. Joe Harvey, 82, of Sun City died March 21, 2007 after an extended illness. He moved to Sun City, Arizona from Elkhart, Indiana in 1984. Joe served in the Navy during WWII and retired from a long career of teaching and coaching in Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Marge of 52 years, son Dwight Kiko of Seattle, Washington, daughter Cindy Schnabel Tom of Chesterton, Indiana and four grandchildren, Casey and Haley Harvey and Libby and Elaine Schnabel. Joe was a member of Sun City Country Club and an avid golfer. Services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 10:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 12225 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Donations may be made to American Lung Association, 102 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85003. Menke Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Al B. Munoz was born on October 31, 1926 in Miami, Arizona. He passed away on March 21, 2007. Al Munoz was an exceptional athlete in high school and college excelling in football, boxing and basketball. He served his country during World War II in the Pacific theater while winning the Army-Air Corp Heavyweight Boxing Championship at Keessler Field in Biloxi, Mississippi. In part, from his love of sports and genuine compassion towards young people he became a teacher and coach after graduating from Northern Arizona University in 1950. Sue Monteith of Sun City West, AZ passed away March 17, 2007. She was born in El Paso, Texas and was raised in Southern California. She later moved to Eugene, Oregon where she met and married her husband George. They raised their family in Eugene, where they were long time members of the Eugene Country Club and Sue was a member of the Junior League of Eugene. They moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1970 and were the owners of Stretch and Sew stores and Hallmark stores. They moved to Sun City West in 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, of 60 years. She is survived by her children, Susan Breeden and her husband Rob, of Eugene; Monty and his wife Heidi, of Phoenix, Arizona and Kathleen Monteith Forde and her husband Mike of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by two grandsons.
