Barbara Jean Burtcheard, 70, of Surprise passed away peacefully May 21, 2007 with her 3 children at her bedside. She is survived by her daughter Marla Rae and sons Roger and Bart Connie Burtcheard. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, May 25, 2007 at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd. Sun City, AZ. John L. Boehm, husband, father and friend passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 18, 2007 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Born August 11, 1935 to John A. and Mildred Boehm in Kansas City, MO, John was raised in Lexington, MO and attended Lexington High School where he formed many lifelong friendships. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in the Ministry. She is survived by her husband The Reverend Edward S. Nelson, Son Edward J. Trish Nelson and daughter Nancy BryantJim Brescia, grandchildren Chad, Scot, Troy, Robert Jr., and Rita, great grandchildren Marlee, Zachary, Matthew, Leo, and Jason. Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday May 16, 2007 at Menke Funeral Home 12420 N. l03rd Ave. Sun City. Memorials suggested to Hospice of the Valley.

Howard P. Martin 89, of Sun City, passed way May 12, 2007. He was born in New York City, NY March 19, 1918 to Philip and Augusta Michel Martin. He was a veteran of WWII US Navy serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was a sergeant with the NYPD for 20 years and later a Manager for Bankers Trust Company. Mr. Martin moved to Arizona in 1974 continuing working in the banking industry. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary and Son Philip, surviving is his daughter Mary Ann Robbert and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 P.M. with a prayer service at 6:30 P.M. at Menke Funeral Home 12420 N. l03rd Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 9:00 A.M. at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd. Interment will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

Jack William Tolmachoff, 86, passed away May 11, 2007 with his loving family around him. Jack was a native Arizona farmer all his life. He is survived by his wife, Doris, of 59 years, sons; Gary, David, Daniel, Jack and Bill, daughters; Barbara Mendrin of Fresno, CA and Mary Tolmachoff, 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Nick and Leo and sisters, Francis and Grace. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the Russian Molokan Cemetery, 75th Ave. and Maryland in Glendale, AZ.

Rudolph A. Hoegner, 74, of Youngtown, AZ passed away on May 7, 2007. Born in Chicago, IL, he was a USAF veteran and moved to Arizona in 1981.
