Col. Alexander E. Nagy, USAF, Ret., 90, of Sun City passed away Jan. 27, 2008. He was born Feb. 18, 1917 in Toledo, OH to Marton and Kathalin Nagy. He served in the US Air Force flying in combat during WW II and retired as Colonel from the USAF Reserves; retired from US Army Tank-Auto Command as Engineering Supervisor. He was preceded by wife Mary A. Nagy in 2004. Survivors include son John Nagy of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and daughter Valerie A. Gary Meier of Peoria, AZ; grandchildren Glenn Meier and Erynn E. Meier. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Menke Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Alice M. Gunderson

Alice M. Gunderson, 87, of Youngtown passed away Jan. 24, 2008. She was born in Lindsey, Wisconsin to Thomas and Alice Cowley Gunderson. She is a retired public school Librarian and moved to Arizona in 1990 from Texas. She was a member of the Youngtown Methodist Church and the American Association of University Women. Survivors include her sister Gladys M. Ford; brother Thomas H. Gunderson; 1 nephew Thomas P. Gunderson his wife Judy and their children Thomas, Stephen & Marian. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM with funeral service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Menke Funeral Home Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Milton Wilson, Jr.

Milton Wilson Jr. Age 75
Milt died peacefully on January 13, 2008 after a long illness. He was born in Chicago, Ill. On July 25, 1932 and had lived in Sun City for the last 21 years.
He is survived by His wife Beverly of 53 years, two sons Michael Debra Wilson, David Beth Wilson, one daughter Suzanne Timothy Moceri, 6 grandchildren Jennifer, Lindy, David, Katie, Amanda and Sonnie, two great grandchildren Wyatt and Kassidy. One brother John D. Wilson. All of whom he loved dearly.
Milt was a Navy Veteran serving his country in the Korean War. He had been in sales most of his life. He was told he could sell ice cubes to Eskimos. His easy going manner and sense of humor made him a success in his field. He never met a stranger. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to hunt and fish and cherished the many outings he had with his sons. He was a golfer, and member of Sun City Country Club for 21 years. He loved to dance and always volunteered to play Santa at Holiday functions. He was a member of both Afifi and El Zariba Shrine Temples in Tacoma, WA and Phoenix, AZ ., respectively.
He will be missed by all.
Memorial service to be held at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N 103rd Ave., Sun City, on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.

Sydney Alfred Saetre

Dr. Sydney Alfred Saetre, of 10349 Talisman Road, Sun City, Arizona, died at Mayo Hospital, Sherman Hospice Home, in Phoenix, on January 15, 2008, at the age of 86. He was born July 23, 1921, at Henning, Minnesota, the son of Alfred and Ida Thoreson Saetre.
He was educated in the Henning Public Schools graduating from high school in 1939. He attended Hamline University, in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1941-1942. He entered the United States Army in June, 1942, and served in the 25th Infantry Division through World War II, in the South Pacific theatre. He was honorably discharged in December 1945.
He entered Northwestern College of Chiropractic now, Northwestern Health Sciences University, Bloomington, Minnesota in 1946. He completed his education and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in the Fall of 1950. He practiced his profession in the State of Montana, in the cities of Butte, Glasgow, and Great Falls. He was honored as Montana Chiropractor of the Year by his fellow practitioners. He completed his professional career in Great Falls, retiring in 1987.
He married Yvonne Hansen in Wells, Minnesota on March 24, 1951.
Sydney and Yvonne moved to Sun City, Arizona, in 1990, living there until his death, spending summer months in the area of his boyhood home in Henning, Minnesota.
Sydney is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne, and by his sisters, Josephine Johnson, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and Clarice Espeland, of Henning, Minnesota, and his brothers, Warren Saetre and his wife, Margaret, of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, Homer Saetre and his wife, Esther, of Battle Lake, Minnesota, and Roland Saetre and his wife, Janice of Vining, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his father in 1936, his mother in 1982, and his older brother, Gaylord Saetre, in 1999.
Sydney was a Mason and a member of the Shrine, Bagdad Temple, in Great Falls. He enlightened the lives of his immediate family, his many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, and a host of patients who looked to him for physical relief in the course of his practice.
A memorial service is planned for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, in Sun City, led by the Reverend Barbara DuhlstineRobarge, a pastor of the congregation, and the Reverend David Saetre, a nephew of Sydney, of Ashland, Wisconsin.

Ronald L. Linsley

Ron L. Linsley, 60, was born in Findley, OH and has been a Phoenix resident since childhood. He passed away on January 13, 2008. He is survived by Mary Jane Linsley, his wife of 38 years; daughter, Mari Denise Parker; 3 grandchildren: Brandon, Brianna and Erik; sisters: Roberta Carson, Rebecca Stockton and Roxanne Hernandez; and the Hearn family: Babe and Mary, Elvis and Debbie Davenport. Ron served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he received 2 purple hearts. Ron had a life long interest in the animal and plant world searching desert, woods, lakes or ponds for anything live. He enjoyed raising birds, fish and many other animals and reptiles throughout his life. Most of all he loved his family and the joy they brought to his life, he will be missed. A memorial service will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Arrangements by Menke Funeral Home.
Margaret Smith

Margie Sullivan Bliss Smith passed away at John C. Lincoln Hospital January 11, 2008. Margie is survived by her husband Dr. Bill Smith, sister Dorothy McLaughlin, daughters Cydney Seivert and Diane Peters; grandchildren Austin and Taylor Seivert, and William, Lauren and Monica Peters.
Margie was born in Flagstaff Arizona on September 12, 1937 to Sid and Eleanor Brick Sullivan. She graduated in 1955 from Flagstaff High School.
In the summer of 1955 she married Bill Bliss deceased 1977. Margie and Bill settled in Phoenix where they raised their two daughters, Cydney and Diane.
In the mid-sixties Margie began her work at Phoenix Memorial Coliseum and later worked for the Phoenix Suns. During those years she was also very active in the women’s organization of the Phoenix Jaycees.
In 1971 Margie and Bill were the General Partners of a Limited Partnership and created the computerized ticketing company, Select-A-Seat.
In 1987 Margie retired from the ticketing business and married Phoenix resident Dr. Bill Smith. Their combined family includes 5 children and 12 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

Barbara Hendrickson, 82, of Sun City West passed away Jan. 9, 2008. She was born in Los Angeles, CA to Fred & Grace Padelford. The daughter of an Arizona pioneer family, she was a longtime Phoenix area resident sharing time in Capistrano Beach, CA. Mrs. Hendrickson was a Registered Nurse practicing at Boswell and Del E. Webb Hospitals in the west valley, she also lived and had many friends at the Happy Trails Community and Immanuel Manor. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister Patti Baker. Survivors include her daughter Linda Butler Mike; son Richard Hendrickson Sandy; brother William Padelford Betty; brother-in-law Gene Baker; grandchildren David Butler, Rhonda Mack Dan, Chris Hendrickson, Robyn Keays Jeremy; step-grandson Sam Gendron Tina and 11 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 14, 2008 at Menke Funeral Home Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Ruth Nowack Seebach, 90, was called to her Heavenly Rest January 8, 2008. She was born on July 31, 1917, in Rochester, New York, and lived in Sun City, AZ, for more than 20 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Irene Nowack, husband Oliver W. Seebach, son Robert O. Seebach, and her sister Carolyn Thieser. She is survived by her daughter Gail Kunkel Lee, Of Georgetown, TX, daughter-in-law Diane Seebach, of Webster, NY, granddaughters Kristin Linscott Brad, of Allen, TX, Rebecca Kunkel, of Austin, TX, Jennifer S. Nelson D.J., of Brockport, NY, Katherine Russi, of Irondequoit, NY, grandson Robert W. Seebach, of Irondequoit, NY, and great-grandsons Jordan Parker, and Drew and Trey Linscott. She is also survived by her long-time friend John Ackerman of Sun City West, AZ.
Ruth was born and raised in Rochester, NY, where she met and married her high-school sweetheart, Oliver. Ruth worked for the West Irondequoit School District, in administration, and after she and her husband retired, moved to Sun City Arizona, where she volunteered at the Boswell Hospital. She and her husband were members of Crown of Life Lutheran Church, in Sun City West. She moved to Round Rock, Texas, in 2005 to be closer to her family.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 11, at the Menke Funeral Home, 12420 North 103rd Avenue, Sun City, from 3pm to 5pm. Graveside services will be held at Sunland Memorial Park, Saturday, January 12, at 10am, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City.

Slott, Dorothy N., 89, January 7, 2008. Born in Lewisburg, PA, December 11, 1918. Survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Charles A. Slott, daughters Barbara Bill DiLenge, Mary Ellen Maxell Doug Zimmermann, and Jill Pearlberg Cliff, grandsons Reed and Steven Maxell, granddaughter Sarah Pearlberg, sisters Edna Middleswarth and Thelma Duck, sister-in-law Audrey Slott, and many nieces and nephews.
