Barbara Ann Gingras
January 30, 2009
Born into heaven on Friday January 30th, Barbara was called home to join her mother and husband Joseph who couldn’t wait on his woman any longer. Barbara was a two time military wife. She and her first husband William left New York in 1956. While living in Colorado Springs Co, she dedicated 30 years of service to a locally owned company while raising three children. After moving to Arizona and completing the first stage of her life after Williams passing, she found her prince charming Joseph, with whom she was married 17 loving years. She, with her love Joe, enjoyed traveling, playing the slots, and working in her flower garden. Barbara also loved Sunday morning mass. If any of the local sports teams were playing, you can bet that she was in front of the television with a diet coke, ready to cheer her teams on. Super Bowl Sunday mom and dad had the best seats in the house! She was always there for those she loved and cared for. Through her tough exterior there was a beautiful, caring, thoughtful and loving woman. She was the oldest of four children. Barbara is survived by her three children, a stepson, five grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. She will be truly missed and forever loved. Thank you for all the memories. Her services will be held on her birthday Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim & St. Anne Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City, AZ. Menke Funeral Home handled arrangements.
