Gordon L. Grubbs
Gordon R. Grubbs, 89, of Sun City West, AZ passed away Sept. 4, 2016. Born Dec. 10, 1926 in Aspinwall, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh to Gertrude and Lyle Grubbs. He entered the US Army in June of 1944 and was sent for the invasion of Japan. When the war ended the ship made a “left turn and headed to the Philippines for clean-up and occupation”. Norbert R. Vadus passed away September 2, 2016, at 83 years of age. Mr. Vadus was born November 22, 1932, in Minersville, PA. Following his education by the Lithuanian nuns of St. Casimir and the Minersville School system, he joined the Navy in 1950 during the Korean War. 92, of Peoria, AZ, passed away on August 29, 2016. Gerry was born on January 14, 1924 in Phoenix, AZ. She grew up in Tempe, AZ and graduated from Tempe Union High School.
