Elizabeth Florence Berndt

Elizabeth Florence Liz Berndt, 81, of Sun City, AZ passed away peacefully at Hospice of Arizona on June 13, 2007 after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Members of her loving family were with her. Elizabeth was born and raised in Washburn, WI. She resided in Arizona for the past 7 years. A great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herbert Wally, sons Gary and Jim, daughters Ann and Beth, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and sister Rose. Her two greatest loves in life were her family and her church where she actively participated in the ladies guild. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 West Northern Avenue Suite A – 100 Phoenix, Arizona 85021. Menke Funeral Home handled arrangements.
