Elizabeth (Jewell) Neighbors, 82 passed away Saturday April 14th 2012 surrounded by family and friends. Jewell was a wonderful “gem” as she was called the “Jewell of Sun City”. She is survived by her companion Perry (Casey) Jones, grandchildren Brent Neighbors (Lori), Todd Neighbors (Susan), great grandchildren Zach, Jake, Ben, Taylor, and Kennedy, brother in law John L. Neighbors, sister in law Mary Lou Mudd, many nieces, nephews, great, and greater, and of course many dear friends. Jewell was preceded in death by her husband James (Buck) Neighbors, stepson Gary Lee Neighbors (Sharon), mother Lenora DeFord Bolton, father Charlie Bolton, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
Jewell enjoyed playing golf, dancing and loved the smell of fresh flowers.
Her loving spirit enriched the lives of many people, and those that love her give her one final farewell. Elizabeth was a true “Jewell” and she will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to Hospice of the Valley, or Saint Mary’s Food Bank. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday April 26, 2012 at Willowbrook United Methodist Church, 19390 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, AZ.

    Death is still not something we get used to. It’s just something we have to deal with because of the sin we inherited from our parents Adam and Eve. (Rom. 5:12) But Jehovah God promises that soon the dead will live again. He also promises that one day Death will be done away with once and for all. (1 Cor. 15:26) This is something I know everyone can look forward to. My sympathy is with you Neighbors Family.
