Gilbert Armendarez, Jr.

Gilbert Armendarez Jr., better known by family and friends as G.G.. was born on March 23, 1978 to Juliet Gracie Martinez and Gilbert Armendarez. God chose to take him home on Wednesday, April 29, 2009.
Viewing is scheduled at Menke Funeral Home in Sun City, Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm with a rosary at 3:30. Funeral services will be Monday, May 4, 2009 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Glendale.
G.G. is survived by his daughter Ciara Armendarez, Momma, Gracie Martinez and his father Gilbert Armendarez from Odessa, TX maternal grandmother, Elvira Leyva from Odessa, TX and paternal grandmother Susie Armendarez.
He was preceded in death by a brother Orlondo Venegas, maternal grandfather Ernest Martinez and paternal grandfather Emilio Armendarez. He also leaves behind a brother Bob and his wife Letty, sister Marcie Whitley and her husband Jesse and sister Desi Radcliffe. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins that will miss him dearly as well as many friends.
“The Lord gives and the Lord takes away.” Our Lord chose to take G.G. to a place where there is no more pain or suffering. We ask for your prayers, that we may find the strength to accept our loss and that we may continue glorifying his name.
