Jeannie Hinton

of Avondale, AZ passed away January 18, 2013. She was surrounded by her family as she went to be with the Lord. A memorial service will be held in Cortez, CO in early summer time. Jeannie was born on February 7, 1944 in Reedly, CA. She was the youngest of five siblings and is preceded in death by her parents Martha Wright and Ernest D. Gary, and two sisters Morine Darnell and Opal Farris. She made her home largely in Cortez, CO where she raised her children, enjoyed the company of great friends, and was active in her community. Her last seven years were spent in the Phoenix area where she spent time enjoying her grandchildren. Jeannie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Randy and Melodie Bumguardner and grandson Tyler of Phoenix, AZ, son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Lori Hinton and four granddaughters, Christina, Mikayla, Kassandra, and Nicole, and one great-granddaughter, Roberta of Avondale, AZ. She is also survived by her brother Winford Gary, and sister Rosa Bell Tull and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeannie was a very strong, but gentle spirit who had a passionate belief in the Lord. Our mother, Gramma, sister, aunt, and friend, will be greatly missed.
