Lee Ann (Nana) Buckau July 9, 1940 – October 18, 2017 SUN CITY, AZ (FORMALLY OF RACINE AND KENOSHA) -Lee Ann (Nana) Buckau from Sun City, AZ, originally from Racine and Kenosha, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 on 8:15 p.m. She was 77 years old. Lee Ann was born on July 9, 1940 in Evanston, Ill to Arthur and Olga (Rosland) Rechtermann. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Rechtermann (Harriett) and Olga Janiak (Chester), three brothers, Neil Rechtermann, Allen Rechtermann and Micheal Janiak, two children, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Phil and Gloria Buckau, and her brother-in-law Ed Sabey, Sr. Surviving Lee Ann is her beloved husband, David C. Buckau, her eight children, Joann Ciske, (Rev. Carl) Union Grove, Lori Marshall, Tignall, GA, Tim Marshall, Racine, Jennifer Marshall, Kenosha, Jeff Buckau (Joan), Massachusetts, Karen Carbajal (Luis Marquez), Milwaukee, Lisa Peyton (Mike), Racine, and Matthew Buckau (Deborah), Racine, 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Lynn Cramer (Tom), and Laurel Sabey-LaBudda (Brad), two sister’s-in-law Eloise Dykas, and Judy Repavich, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lee Ann, AKA Lady Roadrunner and Leroy, was very active in her churches, First Assembly of God in Union Grove and Church on the Green, in Sun City. She was an avid reader, and loved to crochet, knit and participate in China Painting. She loved to sing, and sang with several bands from 1972 through to the early eighties; getting her start at the “Dick and Jerry Van Dyke Room” in Danville, Illinois. Her joy was spending time with her family. She is greatly loved and will forever be missed. The Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at First Assembly of God, 1845 Main Street, Union Grove, WI. (262) 878-1810.
