Lester J. Morr

Lester J. Morr, 96, of Sun City passed away April 30, 2009. Lester was born in Altamont, Illinois, and was a veteran of WW II serving his country in the US Army. He was Postmaster in Altamont, IL retiring to Sun City in 1970, and was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Sun City, Sun City Lions Club and D.A.V. He was preceded in death by his first wife Vera in 1999. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; children Jim Morr Julia and Doris Golf; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and his beloved dog Molly. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009 at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, 9849 N. 105th Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in memory of Lester J. Morr.
