Mary was blessed with a son, Douglas (Sharon) and a daughter, Deanna. Two grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew, brought much joy to her life. Her extended family included several hundred children whose lives she touched as a teacher for more than thirty years. She was a member of American Lutheran Church of Sun City for 21 years and is so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from her faith community during these years and especially during the time of her illness. A celebration of life and memorial service will be conducted on November 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at American Lutheran Church of Sun City, 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.

Dear Glen:
I am so sorry for the loss of your wife Mary, I have so many fond memories of growing up with Mary as my friend and all the years we shared together in school. I enjoyed the girls day luncheons we had each year and she would bring me up on the times she spent in Arizona. I will surely miss her and the good times we had. You have my sympathy. God bless you and your family. Love Jackie McKeegan.

Condolence from Janet & Rick Laney on November 24th, 2017 9:26 am

Mary was a wonderful lady and such a great neighbor. I remember how she invited the neighbors for a holiday brunch and we all had a great visit together. Glen you have been so blessed with such a strong and lengthy union. And while Mary left too soon may you find solace in those memories. God Bless you and your family.

Sincerely, The Laney’s.

Condolence from Lowanda on December 17th, 2017 6:57 pm

Your family have my condolences. Death is never easy, and it brings great sorrow. “Death is something that we cannot sever, but love and memories last forever”. In God’s word the Bible, he tells us about the wonderful promise of the resurrection. We have the hope of seeing our love ones again. John 5:28, 29.
