Mary Rose Lomuscio

Mary R. Petlak Lomuscio, 90, born April 14, 1918 in Newark, NJ died June 29, 2008 in Peoria, AZ. Known as Mary to her Arizona friends and “Mitzi” to her friends and family in New York, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Vincent and her daughter Anita Makula; also five sisters and three brothers. She leaves behind four sons, Frank Pat of Phoenix, AZ, James Pat of Peoria, AZ, Joseph Linda of Fullerton, CA, and Michael Brenda of Chino Hills, CA, and her son-in-law Chuck Makula of Goodyear, AZ. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, two sisters Mickey Petlak & Julia Roberts and one brother Edward Pekarik. We would like to thank her caretakers at Sun Grove Village Care Center where she was lovingly cared for. Scripture service to be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Menke Funeral Home with visitation 2-4 PM. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 Palmeras Dr., Sun City, AZ. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to St. Vincent De Paul C/O St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 9728 Palmeras Dr., Sun City, AZ 85351.
