Raymond Chiaro

Raymond Chiaro 91 of Sun City, AZ passed away peacefully on August 25, 2010 due to complications of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife Anne of 46 years, his children, grandchildren and extended family. Born August 23, 1919 in Chicago, IL. He served in US 5th Army Air Corps, where he earned the rank of Staff Sargent. During his early years, he was an entrepreneur in the pizza business, and later moved on to win the “Best Salesman Award” in the retail furniture business, which earned him the nickname “Writing Ray” because of his success in the writing of so many invoices. He was a volunteer for Braille and coffee hour at the Fountain of Life Lutheran Church. He will be dearly missed and was loved by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 15630 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
