William Eugene Cranston, Sr.

William Eugene Cranston, Sr., 75, of Peoria, AZ passed away February 2, 2009. Born in Waterloo, Iowa he moved to Minnesota and retired to Arizona in 1991. He served as an underage Marine in the Korean War at the age of 16. He leaves behind the love of his life Donna LaRae Cranston; brother James; sister Sharon; sons William Jr. and Thomas; daughters Kelly & Jolene; foster daughter Beverly; 9 grandchildren William III, Blake, Jeanette, Elizabeth, Angela, K.J., Carrie, Katie and Talor; 7 great grandchildren Logan, William IV, Jauslynn, Carly, Samuel, Evan, Brelynn, Dominic, and Isabella is on the way. Poppy loved Jesus with all of his heart as he loved his family. We will miss him greatly. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2009 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. The family requests no flowers please.
