George Mesaros passed peacefully to his eternal rest early Tuesday Aug 12th 2014, He is survived by his five children: James of Denver, Peggy of Sun City, Steve (Wendy) of Scottsdale, Michael (Paula) of Sacramento, and Thomas of Denver, two grand children, Jason and Alexis and many nieces and nephews.
George was born near Detroit, Michigan, on November 20, 1919 and had been a resident of Sun City for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his 4 sisters and brother, his first wife of 8 years, Helen, and his wife of 43 years, Mary.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at St. Joachim & St. Anne Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City, Arizona. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts are suggested to the St Vincent de Paul Society, P.O. Box 13600, Phoenix, AZ 85002.

So sorry to hear of Uncle George’s passing. It was less than a year ago that we rediscovered where he had located years ago. Our families had lost touch since he had remarried after the death of his first wife, Helen, my mother’s sister(Betty). I will remember his quiet, gentle ways that kept his family together after her death. I pray the Lord’s peace and presence be with the family.
