I met George in 1969 when I went to work for southern pacific. he will be missed very much I know I will, he very a very kind man and help me on the railroad when we worked together and we did play cards together in the years there on the job and after he retired. to all of the family my condolence. I am glad I met him in his life time, he will be missed by all..
I am very sad to hear of George’s passing. Growing up, I have such fond memories of going to their home and George was always so nice. I really enjoyed their beautiful rose bushes and George and Dolly would usually let me cut some. I always was in awe of their large, loving family and I am sure this must be a difficult time for them all right now. Much love and prayers for you all.
It seems he had a long full life. Charlie & Yvete, It was a special gift that you could be there for him at the end.
I met George five years ago when I joined his card group. We played every Thursday, rain or shine as long as our health permitted. He was by all definitions of the word a gentleman. He was a gentle man. I never heard him speak a disparaging word about anyone. He was kind, witty and a pleasant person to be with. He will be sorely missed and I felt honored to have known him. He often called me kid because I’m only 75.
I wish to offer my sincere condolences to Mr. Klenners’ family. He was a most gentle and kind individual. As his physcian at CIGNA for many years until my retirement one year ago, I had the honor to care for him. I wish you sweet memories and the strength to carry on his tradition.
Yours sincerely,
Edward L. DuBrow, M.D.
