Albert Kovacs

April 17, 1920–October 19, 2013 Albert of Sun City, passed away Oct. 19th at the age of 93. Born in Hungary, he spent most of his adult life in Fairfield, CT. Served in the Army during WWII, wounded in action in the Normandy Invasion, he was awarded the Purple Heart. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann of 66 years, daughters Diane DeLibero of Wallingford CT, Deborah Herr of Upland CA, Sons-In-Law Joe & Bob, Grandchildren, Jeremy and wife Rosie; Hayley and husband Ben; Jason, Great Granddaughter, Abigail; Brothers-In-Law Julius, Bill, Ron and wife Laura and many Nieces and Nephews. He was pre-deceased by his Brother John, Sisters Grace and Helen and Grandson Graham. He embraced life with his love for singing and bringing joy to all he met. A Memorial Service will be held Dec. 14th at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Palms-Sun City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Palms or Hospice of the Valley.
