Daniel Gomez, 84, of Mesa, AZ passed away Jan. 9, 2007. Born in Mogote, CO, Daniel moved to Arizona in 1941 and worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice in 2001 after 50 years of marriage. Survivors include his daughter, Georgia Harvey Harmon. Son, Daniel Ann Gomez. His sister, Della Maestos, Louise Gallegos and Perfida Reyes, 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be 3-5:00 PM on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale, AZ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, AZ.
