Gloria Lawton

Gloria Lawton of Sun City, AZ passed away on the morning of January 1, 2011 at the young age of 84. Gloria was married to Norman Lawton Jr. for 64 years and rejoins him in spirit. She was born on September 13, 1926 in Coral Gables, FL. She moved to Arizona in 1961 from Pennsylvania to work and eventually retire from the City of Phoenix. Her self-independence and strength of character and spirit was an unstoppable inspiration to all that shared the privilege of knowing her. Gloria leaves behind a sister, 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
