Rachel Butler

Rachel Butler, 85 of Sun City, AZ, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 17th after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time she passed. Rachel was born on September 17, 1936 in Selma, California and was raised by her mother in the small community of Santa Maria, AZ. On New Year's Eve, she met Dennis, the love of her life and they wed on April 8, 1962. Rachel raising two children on her own, Dennis adored and adopted her two sons, going on to have three more children. Dennis and Rachel recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Rachel was loved by many and family was a vital part of her life. Spending time with her family brought her joy. She enjoyed dancing, listening to her music and tacos. She is survived by her husband, Dennis and five children, Tony (Rhonda), Fred (Lulu), Pam (Jack), Ginny (Ron), and Dennis (Yoli); grandchildren include Rene (Josh), Tonya (Doug), Rachel (Joey), Denise (Philip), Victor (Sophia), Vicky (Joey), Christa, Shawn (Jenn), Kristen, Samantha; great grandchildren Mia, Aalyssa, Anna, Andrew, Pablo, Alex, Nobyl, Kale, Rowan, Salem, Luca, Alice, Haddyn, and Victoria. She is also survived by her sisters, nieces and nephews. We will miss her love, her laughter, her wisdom, and her sense of humor.
