Thelma Christy

Thelma M. Christy went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2009. Thelma was born October 27, 1906 in Warren, Ohio to Thomas and Jamima Davis. She was the middle of ten children. She married Paul Christy in October of 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988 as well as their three children; Margaret 2002, Jean 1994 and Richard 2005. Thelma leaves 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She also leaves three siblings in Florida; Jim Davis, Helen Hatch and Betty Robison and well as numerous nieces and nephews. Thelma lived in Ohio most of her life, moved to Montana in 1976 and then to Arizona in 1984. After her husband passed away she moved to Freedom Plaza and thoroughly enjoyed her time there. Thelma was a very good homemaker, loved to bake and made a lot of ceramic pieces for her friends and family. She enjoyed playing bridge and other card games. She had a unique sense of humor and loved playing tricks on others. She will be missed by all those who loved her.
