Thelma Garbarino

GARBARINO, THELMA 82, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on September 15, 2009. She died at home with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and worked for the General Motors Corporation for many years. She married Robert Bob Garbarino in 1952 and were together for 57 wonderful years. In 1974 they retired and moved to Arizona where Thelma was involved with the Phoenix Newcomers Club and played golf in the Bellair Women's League. She is survived by daughters Diana Garbarino David Manley and JoanneThompson Steve, grandchildren Amy Bartes, and Robert Thompson, sisters Muriel Myzskier and Violet Scannell. The memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, September 25, 2009 at Christ Church of the Valley, 7007 W Happy Valley Rd., Peoria, AZ Contributions may be made to Affinity Hospice of Life, 2501 W.
