Vernon Hoeche

Vernon Hoeche, 93, of Sun City, Arizona passed away Sept. 15, 2011. Born December 3, 1917 in O’Fallon, Illinois. He served as Commander in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean war. One son John Wayne Hoeche (deceased) served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired Professor from Purdue University. Survived by his wife, Irene Hoeche, and daughter, Christine Hobbs and grandsons, Nicholas and Stuart Hobbs of Columbus, Indiana also survive. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2011 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Arizona.
