Betty Lee Johnson McCabe. Age 92. January 20, 2019. Passed quietly in Canton MI. Born in Parkville, MO to Noble and Alice (Rauch) Johnson, Betty often shared stories of growing up onher parents’ dairy farm and life in a small town. She married her high school sweetheart, Vincent J. McCabe Jr in 1946. Vincent’s job with GE had them moving to many different statesbefore finally settling, and eventually retiring, in AZ. Through the years, they made many friends and participated in many activities. After Vincent’s passing in 2012, Betty moved to MI to be near family. Besides her husband, Betty is preceded in death by her sister, Virginia, brother, Harold, and son, Vincent III. She is survived by her son, William “Mike” (Marta), daughter-inlaw, Wiley and grandson Vincent “VJ” IV. Also many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Sun City, AZ 85351 on Feb. 2nd at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Saint Mary’s Food Bank.
