Betty Marie McFarland, 79, of Sun City, AZ passed away May 2, 2008. Betty was born August 9, 1928 in Newell, SD to Earl & Ruth Combs Salter. She moved to Arizona from Wyoming in 1965. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and many other local community groups. Survivors include her son David Hubbard Sue; daughters Sharon Axtell Hank and Earlene Guzzo; brother Earl Salter; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Jarvis McFarland on September 9, 2001. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 9, 2008 at Grace Bible Church, 19280 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, AZ. Menke Funeral & Cremation Center is handling arrangements.
