Charlotte Macari-Lindstrom

Charlotte Eileen Macari Lindstorm, 83, of Sun City, AZ, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Canton, IL on August 17, 1937 to Peter L. Macari, Sr and Beatrice Macari, both deceased. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, David John Lindstrom. She was the love of his life. She was a caring and devoted mother of three sons, Stephen (Patriece) Lindstrom of Bismarck, AR, Scott Lindstrom of Sun City, AZ and Tony (Susan) Lindstrom of Evans, GA. She was the loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Melvin Q. Macari of Peoria, AZ and Peter L. Macari Jr of Phoenix, AZ and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy L. Macari Krossman, her brother Jesse J. Macari and one grandson, Jeremiah Lindstrom. Charlotte was an unselfish, kind, sweet person who served her country for 21 and a half years, not as a military person but as a devoted wife of a career Navy man. She will be missed by all who knew her. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021, 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton, 9728 West Palmeras Drive, Sun City, AZ 85351. For those unable to attend in person, the Mass will be live-streamed on the parish website at https://www.sescc.org/, or for later reference, on their FaceBook page at https://www.facebook.com/SESCCAZ. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road. Phoenix, AZ 85024 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Charlotte's memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
