David W. Doane, passed away on November 25, 2011, at his home in Tonopah, Arizona. In 61 years, he conquered the Great Divide on horseback, mastered his trade as a lineman, and always stood for what he believed in. He leaves behind a wife of 42 years, Ruth Doane, three children, Charity (John), Tiffany, Michael (Kendra), and 10 grandchildren, Thomas, Amber, Ashley, Michael, Isabella, Grace, Ashton, Austin, Brittany, and Talon, and his mother, Lillian Doane and two brothers, Charlie and Randy (Debbie). Born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of George and Lillian Doane, he was a lifelong resident of Arizona and will be greatly missed. The family will be holding a memorial service on December 1, 2011.
