Dorothy Lorraine Toliver passed away shortly after 6pm on July 13, 2025, surrounded by her sisters, Janie Souder and Frances Toliver. Her granddaughter, Saydee Toliver was also present. 

Dorothy lived a life of serving children as a teacher at Alta Loma Elementary. She always wanted children so she adopted Angel after meeting a cute 5 who year old who needed a family. Angel became a mother of four, so Dorothy became a loving and proud grandmother. They were the sunshine of her days.

Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Janie Souder and Frances Toliver (both of Maryville, TN). Precious to her were her grandson, Teegan; and 3 granddaughters, Saydee, Kailonee, and Everlee.  

We will miss her, but we look forward to praising Jesus with her in our Heavenly Home.
