Emily K. Ellsworth, 85, of Sun City, AZ passed away September 16, 2010 at Sun Valley Lodge. Emily was born in Des Moines, IA. She retired to Sun City in 1982 and was a member of the Sun City Sheriff’s Posse for 16 years, an active member of First Presbyterian Church and various other Sun City activities. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William “Bill” Ellsworth; daughters Karen Mahon and Janet Ellsworth; son William Ellsworth (Sharon) and grandchildren Kristin Mattorano and Thomas Ellsworth. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Burial to take place at the Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.
