Everett O. Swearingin, Sr., 84 of Sun City, passed away on November 15, 2008. He served in the Navy during WWII and was a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. Everett is survived by his children, Janet Kealer of Peoria, Everett Swearingin, Jr., of Peoria, and Jeannette Larson of West Palm Beach, FL; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie. Services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 11:00 am at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 W. Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City, with visitation 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow the service at 12:30 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix.
