Faith Margaret Day

Faith Margaret Day, 72, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1953, in Millington, Tennessee, to Norman Carl Schmitz and Angela Jeannine Schmitz.

Faith lived a life defined by resilience, creativity, and deep devotion to her family. She worked in various roles in the retail and restaurant industries, where her dedication and warm spirit touched the lives of many.

Outside of work, Faith embraced a wide range of passions. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed sewing, macramé, baking, and gardening. Her home reflected her unique style and appreciation for beauty, decorated with her treasured collection of oriental and Asian décor.

Above all, Faith was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Eric, and is survived by her children: Star Selsor, Tyler Day, and Quinton Hall; and her grandchildren: Jared, Megan, Amber, Ashlynn, Nova, and Karizma; and her great grandchild: Ivy.

Faith’s compassion, creativity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, May 27th at 2pm at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N 103rd Avenue, Sun City, AZ 85351.
