Fern Lucille Ensz, 83, passed away on December 14, 2020 at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge, Kansas. She was born September 14, 1937, at Copeland, Kansas to William B. and Katherine (Schmidt) Koehn. She was a homemaker. Fern was a long-time resident of Surprise, Arizona, residing at Bethesda Home of Goessel, KS. and Moundridge Manor in her later years. Fern was a member of Lone Tree Mennonite Church, Galva, KS., as well as a former member of Sun Valley Mennonite Church in El Mirage, Arizona. Fern married Ervin T. Ensz on December 28, 1958 at Montezuma, Kansas. He passed away April 10, 2014. She is survived by four sons, Bruce (Dorothy) Ensz of El Mirage, Arizona, Ron (Karen) Ensz of Chester, Iowa, Wes (Connie) Ensz and Clark Ensz, all of El Mirage, AZ.; daughter, Raquel (Pat) Johnson of Galva, KS; brother Jake (Illa) Koehn, Victoria, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and close family friend, Diva Withers, Copeland KS. In addition to her husband, Fern was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Craig Ensz; brothers Curtis Koehn, Allen Koehn and Junior Koehn; sisters, Evelyn Koehn, Lena Jantzen, Ruth Kehn and Carrie Penner. Friends may call from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Moundridge Funeral Home, Moundridge, KS. A visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Sun Valley Mennonite Church in El Mirage, AZ. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Sun Valley Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Glendale, AZ.
