George Doane, 83, a WWII Veteran, of Glendale, AZ, passed away October 6, 2010. George was a member of the El Zaribah Shrine as well as the American Legion Post #29. He is survived by his wife, Lillian, three sons; Charles, David(Ruth) and Randy(Debbie) as well as five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation Monday, October 11, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. A private family burial will be held a the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
