George Dale Lauchner of Sun City, AZ died on Tuesday, April 4th 2017 at his home. He was 84. He was born December, 2 1932 in Venita, OK to William Albert Lauchner and Beulah Hester Roberts one of 5 boys. His parents and 3 of his brothers precede him in death. He served in the United States Navy from March 13 1953 to March 6 1957 with his rank on discharge a BT2. He married Mary Lou Priddy on August 5 1952. She preceded him in death in 2008. Together they had 3 children, Wade Scott Lauchner (Anne), Valerie Denise Williams (Rex), and Christie Louann Strickland. These children blessed them with 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. An Arizona resident for 74 years, George retired from APS. A small graveside service will be held at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave. in Glendale on Saturday, April 15th at 1100.
