Quinn, George (Pat) Retired colonel George L. Quinn, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2015 in Peoria, Arizona. George was born in Wichita, Kansas. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who always put his family first and never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his humor, storytelling and wisdom. George retired from the U.S. Army in 1978, after a long and distinguished career serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a recipient of numerous awards for distinguished service to include The Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal. George’s military career also took him to Panama and Mexico City. After retirement, he was president of Interceramic Tile and Comptroller at Ysleta del Sur Pueblo in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Amy, daughters Cristal Quinn and Cecilia Martin, son-in-law Greg Martin and granddaughters Kaitlyn and Kourtnie Martin.
