Gino Paul Mei came this life in Chicago on July 14, 1919 to his Italian imigrant parents Hermangildo and Martha Mei. He transitioned from this life to the next on June 29, 2023 at 6:30 a.m., his beloved wife Nora and son Kenny were by his side. He was 104 years old. He was a decorated WWII Veteran, with two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star.
He was loved, admired and respected by his family, friends and community. He was a Veteran, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and also a friend to many.
He leaves behind wife Nora, sons Kenny, Sean, Steven, Ron and their families, as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Thank you Gino Mei for your service to the World and to your family. May your soul find happiness in Heaven and Celebrate your new life with the ones you have missed. Till we see you again, you will never be forgotten. We Love You, your Family.
