Helen D. Herrboldt passed away July 28, 2018. Born in Delmont, South Dakota Helen graduated from Delmont High School and attended Wartburg College. She was the first of her family to attend college. Helen met Robert “Bob” Herrboldt at Wartburg. They were married for over 55 years. Together they raised three daughters. Helen completed her degree in education at the University of Nebraska. She taught elementary school for many years. During her long marriage Helen and Bob enjoyed traveling. They toured all fifty states and later made multiple trips overseas. Helen enjoyed doing handwork, quilting and reading. She also belonged to several bridge clubs. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Bob. She is survived by her daughters Marjo (Arne) Moen, Bobbi (Bob) Telste, and Rebecca (David) Dunegan. She had 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at American Lutheran Church, 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd. in Sun City August 31 at 2pm.
