Howard L. McMeekin, 67, of Glendale, Arizona passed away Jan. 13, 2011. Mr. McMeekin was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. An Arizona resident for 26 years, he worked as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by son Allan in 1992. Survivors include his children, Eugene McMeekin, Colette Kelly and Aimee McMeekin & Trevor; brothers Raymond and Jimmy Klaus; his sister Maggie Opiola and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. with funeral service at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
