Hugh Orr Jr.

Hugh F. Orr, 79, of Sun City passed away on July 11th after a 7-year battle with cancer. He is survived by daughter Jennifer Orr Summers of Redondo Beach, California, stepson Scott (Sondra) Wilderman of Ann Arbor, Michigan; stepdaughter Jacki Brunmeier, of Sun City, Arizona; stepdaughter Tonya (Joanne) Wilderman of Appleton, Wisconsin; and stepdaughter Michelle (Greg) Peters of Anchorage, Alaska. He was beloved by 8 grandchildren, one great grandchild and one niece. Hugh was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Janice Orr; his brother Findley Orr; and both parents. Hugh was proud of his Scottish heritage and he loved and played golf all his life. He enjoyed traveling, golfing and visiting with his many friends and family. He will be missed by friends and family. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and lived in Wisconsin until 1988 when he moved to Indiana. Hugh and Jan moved to Sun City in 2006. He worked for American Can Company for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1996. Funeral services for Mr. Orr will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center in Sun City at later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
