Jean Marie Fogarty, 84, of Peoria, AZ was born July 22, 1941, in Newton, Kansas, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Earl O. Minturn. She departed this life Tuesday, July 7, 2026, surrounded by her family who loved her very much. 

Jean attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS as well as the Sisters of St. Joseph School of Nursing in Salina, Kansas.In 1962, Jean married Robert Fogarty of Pittsburg, Kansas. They lived in Kansas City, MO, Phoenix, AZ, Irvine, CA, Chandler, AZ, and Peoria, AZ. 

Jean is survived by her three daughters, Kathy (David) of Phoenix, AZ; Becky (Janet) of Phoenix, AZ; and Karen (Scott) of Peoria, AZ; (husband Robert and daughter, Elizabeth Ann preceded her in death); Five grandchildren, Alisyn (Josh), Kevin, Britne (Adam), Ryan (Tory), Madisyn; three great-grandsons, Jax, Jared and Theo and two great-granddaughters, Jacy and Claire.Our family has been blessed beyond words to have had Jean as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. 

She will be truly missed. We love you!
