Jimmy Lee Patterson, 59, of Sun City, AZ passed away Oct. 16, 2010. He was born in Lexington, Mississippi. A US Army veteran and retiree, he moved to Sun City from Thousand Islands, New York in January 2000 and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife Mary; daughter Tammy Fox of Gilbert, AZ; son James Patterson of San Diego, CA; brothers Billy, Joe, Doubbie and Randy Patterson; sisters Emma Jean Halverson, Ann Dillinger, Mary Lou Carter and Sara Davis all of Mississippi; grandchildren Tyler and Ayden Fox of Gilbert, AZ. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Graveside services with military honors to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
