JoAnn Boyd died peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 17, 2026, surrounded by love. She was born on September 11, 1942, in Vale, Oregon, to Zeb and Violet Evins and loved her two (2) brother’s, Billy & Glenn, and sister, LaVonne, deeply.

JoAnn married Charles Stanley Harrod in 1962, and together they had two daughters, Penny Powell and Julli Schultz.

On June 3, 1984, JoAnn married Ellis C. Boyd. She welcomed his four children into her life, Kathy Killand, Alesia Chaney, Jeff Boyd, and Jayson Boyd, and embraced the new family that marriage brought together.

JoAnn and Ellis settled in Phoenix, Arizona, and later retired in Sun City, Arizona, where they enjoyed their time together until her final day.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
