Joanne Moenich, 48, a long time Glendale resident passed away August 18, 2008. Joanne was born in Queens, NY and moved to Arizona in 1969. She was a graduate of Thunderbird High School and A.S.U. and was employed as a Registered Nurse at Boswell Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband Charles J. Moenich; sister Cathy Lupo and many loving nieces & nephews. She will be joining her brother Frank Palermo and her father and mother Giacomo & Giuseppa Palermo in Heaven. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. with Rosary 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral mass will 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 21, 2008 at St. Simon & St. Jude Catholic Church, 6351 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, AZ.
