Obituary

Joe Armando Sandoval Jr., born on June 27, 1968, in Korea, passed away on December 15, 2025, in Gilbert. He was a devoted husband, cherished son, loving brother, and proud uncle, known for his kind heart and willingness to help those around him.

Joe dedicated many years to driving trucks, including a notable tenure with O'Reilly Auto Parts. His work was more than just a job; it was a part of the many ways he contributed to others' lives. Joe earned his GED in Chicago, demonstrating his commitment to self-improvement and personal growth.

He had an unwavering passion for cars and often spent precious time surrounded by family and friends, sharing laughter and stories. An avid movie watcher, Joe created lasting memories while enjoying films with his loved ones. His compassion was evident as he often went out of his way to lend a hand to family, friends, and acquaintances, embodying the true spirit of selflessness.

Joe was renowned for his proudest accomplishment—saving a co-worker's life, for which he received a certificate of appreciation. This act exemplified his character and the profound impact he made throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Megan Sandoval; his father, Joe Armando Sandoval Sr.; his sister, Mihyang Kim; and his brothers, Robert Sandoval (Sandra) and Ronald Sandoval (Dawn). He also leaves behind his treasured nephews, Jordan and Robert Jr., and his cherished nieces, Rianna, Alyssa, Annie, and Lucy. Additionally, Joe is survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Chong Ye Sandoval, and his two sons, Jose Emilio and Jose Emilio Sandoval II. He is also mourned by his grandparents and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who will remember him with deep love and affection.

A visitation will be held on December 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center located at 12420 N 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. Joe's legacy of kindness and selflessness will continue to inspire those who knew him, and he will be remembered as a beacon of love in the lives he impacted.
