September 10th marked the passing of John Peter McCartan. John was a beloved husband to Patricia for 48 years, father of Trish Lindsay (Russell), and John (Kerry) and a much loved "Pop Pop" to Norah, Wyatt, and Flynn. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy, possessed a kind heart, was a great mentor to his children, and the #1 NY Giant fan. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, September 18th at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ; reception to follow. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Hospice of the Valley. John's hospice team's support, caring, and professionalism went above and beyond; we were overcome with their kindness.
