John Francis Perucich, 84, of Sun City, Arizona, formerly of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home on May 18, 2026.

Born on July 20, 1941, in Hyde Park, MA, John was a proud Bostonian for most of his life before relocating to Sun City, Arizona in 2022. He carried with him the values of loyalty, hard work, and community that defined both his hometown and his character.

John honorably served six years in the United States Marine Corps, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and love of country. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to the City of Boston as a parking enforcement officer, where he became a familiar and respected presence in the community.

Above all else, John was known for his kindness and generosity. He had a giving heart and a gentle spirit, always ready to lend a hand or offer support to those in need. His quiet strength and steady presence were constants in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

John was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara. He is survived by his two sons, John III and Michael, who will carry forward his legacy of integrity, compassion, and devotion to family.

Interment will be private at the family’s request.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
