John F. Rambeau, 90, of Peoria, AZ, passed away on April 14, 2008, in Sun City, AZ. He was an Army World War II veteran. He Graduated from Stanford University after which he served as a professor at Oklahoma University in Norman, OK, as well as Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. He went on to write several children's books. He is survived by his wife Alicia, three children, and two grandchildren. A graveside service with honors will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 12:30 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
