Jonathan L.Hirst 67, died peacefully with his family around him after a courageous battle with paralysis and other serious illnesses. Jon was born on December 29th, 1953 to Una (Hathaway) Hirst and Ed Hirst. He is survived by his loving wife, Veronica of 40 years and four wonderful children, Annie, Jonathan, Molly and Emily. He is also survived by his sister Laraine, and brothers, Steve, Rick, Mark, Mike and Ron. His sister Pam has met her eternal rest. Jon is also survived by numerous grand children, nieces and nephews and many others. Jon was loved dearly. His family and friends thought of him as a big teddy bear. He was quick to have a joke ready to liven things up. Anyone who met Jon loved his humor and infectious personality. He enjoyed restoring an old 1968 GTO, but his family will always remember camping trips, barbecues and family events. He will be greatly missed.
