Josephine “Jo” Jones was born in Providence, R.I. on November 12, 1928, to Salvatore and Guisepina Cipressi. She is survived by husband Donald G. Jones; sons Donald M. (Mer) and Charles J. (Pam). Jo worked at Smitty’s Bakery. She volunteered at Wings of Peace, an organization that serves the homeless and needy with food and clothing. Jo and her husband played Santa and Mrs. Clause at Wings of Peace. A Mass will be held at St. Joachim & St. Anne Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
